Boys/Camping from Bo Bunny

When I saw this paper I just had to have it. Not just because it is the cutest outdoor paper and we live in the Northwoods, but Justin was the boyest boy I ever saw. He could sit in the sand box for hours and hours. If he was ever missing, we just looked for the nearest pile of dirt and there he would be. He could get dirty standing still!
this paper line has matching cut out sheet and stickers. Also the arrows are cut out of a 12 x 12. It was a fun layout to make- mostly because the paper is so great. These are all of Justin, just at 3 different ages- He was always so adorable!!!

Pretty Papers

I absolutely loved this paper when it first came and I still love it- imagine that!!!! This layout was fun and easy to make. I love to get out my cutting mat and my exacto knife. I cut the stripe in a curve- don't worry if it is not perfect- you can place your mat on top of any bad portion.
Also I layered 2 ribbons - a small decorative edged brown ribbon on top of a plain gold ribbon. This gives it a little texture and interest.
I matted the small square epoxy sticker and added it on with a foam square.
I really enjoyed making this layout- all of the paper and stickers are beautiful and I used interesting and fun techniques.
Stop in the store and see it in person!!!

Cute, fast and easy

No, I am not talking about me....lol. I could not resist that one. Megan is giving it a thumbs down, but I am still leaving it.

ever need one of those fun cards in a hurry. Well, this set from Inkadinkadoo is an easy set to get a fast card from. And they are hilarious!!! The best part is you get a great quick card that everyone will rave about. I colored this in with my copic markers, because they have great colors and you don't see color lines. Then just mounted it on scrap paper and waaallaaa... a great, fun and cute card. If you have not tried the copics yet- you should!!! We are having another copic class on Tuesday June 30th. Otherwise stop in and try them out.

Ideas from Books

I had a class two weeks ago using an idea book and adding a twist. we did these two layouts in the class. We used the beautiful Mimosa collection from SEI. This is a fabulous collection- I love the colors. We switched the paper and made a couple of other small changes to the layouts in the book. The Me Book is the idea book that these came from. It is a great class to help you learn how to use idea books and magazines and give them your personality.

Beautiful Butterfly

We had a fabulous time at the Sayner Show last weekend- hope all of you that were able to go had as much fun as we did! I was doing a card with embossing powder and bleach.
Here is a variation on different paper. I just love this look. I first embossed the butterfly with a gold sparkle embossing powder. If you do not have gold sparkle- you can make your own. You just mix gold embossing powder with gold glitter (make sure it is over 50% embossing powder or it does not stick right!) then I painted bleach in the butterfly wings. This is what it looked like when it was dry. Papers are all different so try it on a small scrap first.
I know that many of you purchased this great set from Inkadinkadoo. If you missed out, we will have this back in stock soon!

Painting, Painting and more Product......

We have taken spring cleaning to a whole new level here at the store. We decide to freshen up the place with a little paint. I think the paint is now taking over. Stop in and check out our new look- although it is a masterpiece still underwork. (or at least we would like to think so!)

Same cartridge just a different project

I am always saying how versitile the cricut is- I thought I should show you.

Yesterday I showed you a project with Animal Kingdom.

Today I thought that I would show you some more. Last month I used this cartridge in our monthly cricut class.

This is a great way for you to all get to know your machines better. I love making cards and layouts, but I also covered a journal in this class.

If you keep journals- you should be buying inexpensive composition books and decorating the covers yourself. I love this one!
